« Back to ResultsProvides analytical, project, and reporting support for the GOVerify Business Center and GOVerify initiative resulting from the Presidents Memorandum to enhance payment accuracy through a Do Not Pay List.
Demonstrates increasing business and technical skills in collecting and analyzing data, developing management information systems (MIS) and other reports, and coordinating projects in support of the GOVerify Business Center.
Key Activities
Manages or conducts projects and analyses related to GOVerify Business Center operational processes, reporting, continuous improvement opportunities, staffing needs, or procedure/policy review(s) and update(s).
Develops recommendations and makes presentations to management, department staff, other Reserve Bank personnel, government agencies, and the US Treasury. Trains others on new procedures/policies.
Possesses an aptitude to work collaboratively and effectively with Information Technology (IT) staff, including, but not limited to Data Analysts and Business Analysts.
Must be particularly adept at collecting and collating data, as well as ensuring data accuracy supporting GOVerify Business Center reporting, projects, and initiatives.
Researches market/industry practices; collects and analyzes data or information; draws appropriate conclusions; presents results in written reports or through oral presentations using visual aids.
Participates in budget related activities such as developing and monitoring budget, compiling data, monitoring expenses, responding to inquiries, providing documentation, explaining variances, and providing rationale and recommendations. May assemble and review work prepared by others.
Monitors status, identifies trends, and prepares reports on quality measures, performance metrics, or other GOVerify Business Center goals and objectives.
Manages, coordinates, or conducts activities related to identifying and managing GOVerify Business Center risks, such as Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) assessment and compliance activities; Committee of Sponsoring Organizations COSO testing and documentation; Information Security (nISM) and Security Assurance for the Federal Reserve (SAFR) awareness, adherence, and completion of risk management processes; and Business Continuity (BC) testing and plan maintenance.
Strictly adheres to all Treasury data classification requirements, including treatment and protection of Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data. Includes coaching and guiding others in the proper handling of sensitive data.
Designs management information reports, tools, and systems.
Leads or completes ad-hoc projects and/or assignments.
Coordinates business requirements and process changes for automated systems.
Develops training plans and materials for department staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QualificationsQualifications
General Requirements
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of budget and accounting principles and systems; knowledge of the Federal Reserves PACS accounting processes desired.
Proficient computer skills in programs including, but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and e-mail programs. Expand to more sophisticated MIS tools MS Access and internal and System business applications.
Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including formal presentations skills for executive audiences.
Project management skills to include organization, planning and execution.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
Customer service orientation.
Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment. In higher grades, team leadership.
