• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering or Computer Science, and at least 5 years experience • Minimum of two years experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming; (e.g RSLogix 5, RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000; HMIs, Factory Talk View ME, Panel Builder 32) • Minimum of two years experience in the troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of electrical control systems • Working knowledge of NFPA 70, National Electric Code; NFPA 79, Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery; 29CFR1910 and 29CFR1926, OSHA Standards for General Industry and for Construction Industry • Prior experience with the specification and implementation of robust sensors and sensing systems • A strong technical background and previous leadership experience • Ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking team environment • Requires strong problem solving skills
This is an electrical engineering support role in support of SCRA production. In this role the candidate will primarily support operations to improve sensing, control, and data reporting systems for high speed manufacturing equipment. The candidate will also act as direct electrical engineering liaison to one or more product areas to understand the area needs and issues, and marshal resources to accomplish troubleshooting and execute improvement projects on production related concerns as required. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to: identifying and performing systematic production and internal process improvement efforts, establishing and directing electronics technicians, insuring Team/Project goals are met, interfacing with both internal and external customers, development and integration of new equipment and processes, the execution of new projects and supporting area modernization efforts. Responsibilities: • Respond to escalated production problems on a timely basis • Identify product manufacturing area electrical engineering and technician needs • Directing, mentoring and developing electrical technician staff • Assess, assign, monitor and closeout work activities with trackable metrics and focus on continuous improvement • Proactively identify and estimate work efforts, secure resources and coordinate completion • Maintain project status and updates for engineering group • Participate in the development and documentation of electrical and electronics engineering plant standards • Adherence to and improvement of established electrical engineering plant standards • Support the deployment and data collection needs for internal management processes
