Experience and Skills: The position requires experience in applying Systems Engineering practices to all phases of a program. •Experience in the application of the Systems Engineering process, its applications, and methodologies. •Experience in Voice of the Customer techniques, Requirements Development and Management, Architecture Definition, Verification and Validation planning and assessment, structured Decision-Management and Risk Management. •Experience as a system engineer in programs that encompass system architecture, requirements analysis, design, production, integration, test and transition into production. •Experience in developing Concepts of Operation, System engineering Management Plans, Interface Control Documents, etc. •Knowledge of Configuration Management from the Systems Engineering Perspective. •Experience with a requirements development and management tool required. •Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Power Point, Word, and Excel. •Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Job Description: 1.Manages the Systems Engineering process through Integrated Product Development Teams comprised of Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Logistics, Reliability, Human Factors and Safety. 2.Derives and defines system level requirements, performs Voice of the Customer requirements analysis, and requirements management for programs. 3.Perform analyses at all levels of total system life cycle to include voice of the customer, concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, support and disposal 4.Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. 5.Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk management, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. 6.Develops system architecture and interface control documentation. 7.Maintains 100% compliance to processes and procedures. 8.Drives technical excellence by contributing to the systems engineering process and continuous improvement activities.
