JobTitle Description:
Job Description: – Perform Time studies and other analysis and provide recommendations to improve people, material, and equipment utilization in production operations. – Provide recommendations for identifying and mitigating bottle necks and/other impediments by improving worker efficiency/utilization by restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocating work stations and equipment or changing sequencing methodology to reduce cycle time. – Must be able to work constructively and communicate effectively with all levels of operations to facilitate improvements. – Primary emphasis on process and methods improvement, Industrial Engineering, using continuous improvements and or other lean manufacturing tools. Requirements/Qualifications – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. – Extensive experience with manufacturing operations. – Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross functional teams and projects to achieve goals and objectives. – Maynard Operation Sequence technique (MOST) certifification preferred
