The Voice Network Administrator is responsible for operation and maintenance of UMB Voice systems and related infrastructure. Duties include daily health monitoring, diagnosing of technical issues, fulfilling customer request and preforming Lifecycle management upgrades . This individual ensures that all UMB Voice systems adhere to organizational standards, values and strategic plan.
Duties –
Work with team members, Users and department management in troubleshooting or implementing new request that meet customer expectations.
Maintains Voice performance by performing voice system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning
Complete voice documentation, for troubleshooting, system setup and system connectivity
Ability to use Cisco monitoring tools used to support Cisco Call Manager and associated equipment
Accomplishes organization goals by accomplishing user requests for both the Voice and data systems
Key skills-
Strong written, oral, and analytical skills
Strong customer service skills
Knowledge of routing and switching
Knowledge of Cisco Call manager or other Voice systems
Knowledge of DNS/DHCP servers, IP addressing
Experience coding In C+, Perl, or Python is a plus
CCNA (data or voice) is a plus
