PeopleSoft Technical Upgrade Specialist (1); 40 hours per week through August 2013; M-F 8-5


Role and Responsibilities


·         Work with the City’s PeopleSoft administrator, DBA and technical support team to perform technical upgrade tasks associated with upgrading City’s PeopleSoft pillars (Human Resources, Financial Management, and Customer Relationship Management) from version 8.9 to version 9.1


·         Assist with performance tuning and troubleshooting issues.  


Qualifications and Education Requirements


·         3-5 years of PeopleSoft technical experience


·         Experience with PeopleSoft application upgrades to include all pillars, database, and PeopleTools.


·         Experience completing upgrades utilizing Change Assistant, Application Designer, App Engine, SQL Plus, SQR


·         Experience with PeopleSoft 9.1, Oracle 11g, and PeopleTools 8.52 strongly preferred


·         Experience with Linux and Windows 2008 R2
