Position Overview |
Agile Technology Solutions (ATS), a unit within the Achievement and Assessment Institute at KU is seeking a customer phone support technician to assist clients in creating, administering and obtaining reports for the statewide assessment system. ATS customer support technicians will respond to customer request throughout the testing process from setting up the testing environment, testing students, to obtaining and understanding reports provided by the testing system. |
Job Duties |
80% Responsible for directly responding to client support request via both phone calls and emails. ATS customer support technicians will respond to customer requests throughout the testing process from setting up the testing environment, testing students, to obtaining and understanding reports provided by the testing system.
20% Document new support issues as they arise to add to the organizations troubleshooting and support capabilities.

Required Qualifications |
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years (at least 4 years) of dedicated experience in a customer technical support role. 2. 1 year of dedicated phone support experience. 3. 1 year of dedicated email support experience. 4. Experience in problem solving customer issues using troubleshooting techniques. 5. Working knowledge of Windows and OS X operating systems. 6. Must have excellent written communication skills as demonstrated in application materials. 7. Demonstrated active listening and communication skills, to interpret client concerns and translate into technical defect notation |
